HVFC was dispatched at 8:24pm Wednesday, 3/30/6 for a commercial building fire at the industrial complex on Philmont Ave. at Duell St. Engine 8-1 confirmed light smoke condition in the building. Crews on the roof discovered roof material on fire and drop ceiling smoldering. Extinguishers and a hand line were deployed to extinguish the fire. Responding on the call were Engine 8-1, Tower 8, Squad 8, Utility 8, 8 Fire Police, Squad and Special Service 11, Ladder 10, Engine 9, 355 EMS. Ladder and Engine 2, Engine 95 for station cover of 8 and 11. Thanks to all of the mutual aid companies who assisted us tonight.
