HVFC was dispatched for a dwelling fire on the 400 block of Welsh Road at 9:13 am today. LMPD and Captain 100 confirmed heavy smoke showing. Engine 11 began initial attack. Command requested second alarm and additional special calls made for man power. Crews ordered to conduct exterior attack once conditions deteriorated. Fire placed under control at 11:24 am. Units from Station included Engine 8-1, Squad 8, Utility 8 and Station 8 Fire Police.
