On Monday 10/27, firefighters participated in a Radio Communications Drill which discussed the techniques and operation of radio communication on the fireground. The class concluded with a timed hands on exercise where the โofficerโ was given a photo and using only a radio had to communicate the image to his โcrewโ in another room of the firehouse. Crews quickly realized that clear instructions and teamwork were the key to success for this exercise.
