At 12:39 am, Station 8 was dispatched for a vehicle rescue in the area of Pine Road and Shoemaker Road. Initial reports stated car into a telephone pole with power lines down around the vehicle. PECO units arrived on scene and secured power to the area. Once power was secure, crews from Squad 8 extricated the driver. Patient was transported to the hospital by Bryn Athyn Ambulance. Station 8 Fire Police remained on location to assist police with the road closure.
